00:01:00:17 - 00:01:30:23
Chloe Fiona

00:01:32:20 - 00:01:34:16
Chloe Fiona

00:01:34:19 - 00:01:39:00
Chorus
Yes. Yeah. Good.
00:01:39:02 - 00:01:44:00

00:01:44:02 - 00:01:44:15
Chorus
Let's.
00:01:44:17 - 00:02:06:15
Victoria
Let's have a bit more bubbles. I am, French originally, born and raised in New York City. And, what do I do? I am a trust and vulnerability coach. In the corporate space, and one on one and, yeah.
00:02:06:17 - 00:02:20:04
Shaniqua
So, we are so happy to have you both here. And I am not rooting for Victoria because she's a millennial. I'm also rooting for them both. I'm not going to be biased, but I'm really happy to see millennial here in this.
00:02:20:06 - 00:02:20:11
Chorus
So.
00:02:20:11 - 00:02:47:23
Shaniqua
Today here, our finale is going to be with Millennials versus Gen Z. Let's get started. So really quickly here we have Social Justice. So think about any oh I guess like when and that has impacted society. Social Justice Generational Trauma. I think it's in the name. Yeah.
00:02:47:23 - 00:02:55:03
Chorus
Yeah I got that. We're not kidding that. We're not kidding, Stan. I think we we get it here.
00:02:55:07 - 00:02:56:11
Shaniqua
We we all been in therapy.
00:02:56:13 - 00:02:58:07
Chorus
Yeah. Okay. All right.
00:02:58:09 - 00:03:15:10
Shaniqua
So then How's the Weather? These are kind of, like, more like euphemisms. I, like, take place in work. So put your thinking caps at that one. Changemakers, individuals that have made an impact on our society. And then. Funtastic. This is just our quirky, fun little category.
00:03:15:16 - 00:03:16:04
Victoria
Miscellaneous.
00:03:16:08 - 00:03:27:10
Stephanie
One thing, one quick thing to note in the finale is we tried to really cover the the breadth of all generations, and that's, it's going to be, yeah, a little bit for everybody.
00:03:27:11 - 00:03:28:08
Chloe Fiona
Nice.
00:03:28:10 - 00:03:30:01
Shaniqua
So it's not just about us.
00:03:30:02 - 00:03:39:11
Stephanie
So we'll we'll start with our traditional paper, rock scissors competition, establish your rules together and then start the game.
00:03:39:13 - 00:03:44:21
Chorus
Establish the rules. Got it. And once you've said yes, then okay.
00:03:44:23 - 00:03:47:08
Stephanie
This is a young person like we know.
00:03:47:10 - 00:03:50:03
Chorus
Rock, paper scissors shoot. Rock paper.
00:03:50:03 - 00:03:50:09
Shaniqua
Scissors.
00:03:50:09 - 00:03:58:20
Chorus
Shoot. You're in touch. Rock paper scissors. Shoot. Okay, go. Okay, I'm getting the energy.
00:03:58:22 - 00:04:01:20
Stephanie
Gen Z has taking it.
00:04:01:22 - 00:04:07:21
Shaniqua
Well, we know who wants to win, so. Oh. Since we're getting ready for the kazoos, we're going to do a clap. Yeah, okay. All right.
00:04:07:23 - 00:04:08:19
Victoria
Make sure. Not that I.
00:04:08:19 - 00:04:20:21
Stephanie
Think I'm going to ask for this particular round that we, allow her to state the question. Yes. Before we clap and and said, I think that that will give some continuity to this round.
00:04:20:23 - 00:04:22:12
Victoria
So finish the question.
00:04:22:14 - 00:04:28:16
Chorus
Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Okay. So Chloe, where would you like to start?
00:04:28:18 - 00:04:30:05
Victoria
This is the first one.
00:04:30:07 - 00:04:32:06
Chorus
And,
00:04:32:08 - 00:04:38:22
Chloe Fiona
Let's see. You know what? I'm not. So How's the Weather is like, corporate world, right?
00:04:39:00 - 00:04:40:02
Stephanie
All right. Euphemisms.
00:04:40:07 - 00:04:49:16
Chloe Fiona
Euphemisms. Okay, you know what? Let's do? How's the weather? Let's go for let's go for 20.
00:04:49:18 - 00:04:57:00
Shaniqua
A usually awkward group introduction where everyone answers the same question.
00:04:57:02 - 00:05:03:21
Chorus
Shaniqua sings Jeopardy timer...
00:05:03:22 - 00:05:05:23
Victoria
What is an icebreaker?
00:05:06:01 - 00:05:15:02
Chorus
Wrecked. Okay. Victory. Well, it's like, I mean, you got it.
00:05:15:04 - 00:05:18:07
Stephanie
Where? It's like needles on the board.
00:05:18:08 - 00:05:24:03
Victoria
Where do I want to go? Let's go. Oh, 30 social justice.
00:05:24:03 - 00:05:26:02
Chloe Fiona
Oh, right. Right.
00:05:26:03 - 00:05:37:16
Shaniqua
This class of rights protects individual's freedoms from the infringement of government, social organizations and private individuals.
00:05:37:18 - 00:05:39:16
Chorus
Cheating to.
00:05:39:18 - 00:05:42:19
Shaniqua
Think of, the 1960s.
00:05:42:21 - 00:05:51:12
Chorus
Dee dee dee dee dee dee dee dee. Okay. Wait.
00:05:51:14 - 00:05:54:00
Chloe Fiona
Can you repeat the question one more time? Verbally?
00:05:54:00 - 00:06:04:00
Shaniqua
The class of rights protects individual freedoms from the infringement of governments, social organizations, and private individuals.
00:06:04:02 - 00:06:07:13
Chloe Fiona
What is freedom? Rights? Freedom of Rights act?
00:06:07:15 - 00:06:11:06
Shaniqua
No, no, this is, 1960s.
00:06:11:06 - 00:06:14:07
Stephanie
And like, they've gone over time and had a lot of things. Yeah, I think we have to tell.
00:06:14:07 - 00:06:15:14
Chorus
Them, you know. Yeah.
00:06:15:17 - 00:06:16:17
Shaniqua

00:06:16:17 - 00:06:17:23
Chorus
Oh, look.
00:06:18:01 - 00:06:19:05
Shaniqua
And it's all in history.
00:06:19:05 - 00:06:37:08
Stephanie
So this is really important. Social justice. You know, we wanted to throw on some things that we hope, you know, people will explore because, yeah, we've all kind of gotten away from understanding our own rights. Right. And it's not surprising. This is a hard question for everybody. Yeah. It really it was pretty simple.
00:06:37:08 - 00:06:41:02
Victoria
Like the words were in their sentence. Yeah. Which is interesting. And I was like.
00:06:41:05 - 00:06:45:02
Shaniqua
And civil rights are the impetus of your employee rights.
00:06:45:03 - 00:06:45:21
Chorus
You know, your.

00:10:42:17 - 00:10:44:22
Victoria
What is Apollo 13?

Chorus

00:11:13:18 - 00:11:15:07
Shaniqua
What is the Challenger Shuttle
Disaster?
00:11:17:09 - 00:11:22:09
Stephanie
This is definitely be something this is very Gen-X thing. Yeah, yeah. Gen-X kids. I
00:11:22:09 - 00:11:38:03
Stephanie
They rolled TVs into every single room across the country. And Sally Ride is Rght up there. She was the first. She was a teacher. And so she was the first teacher to be going into space, which is why they had every student in the country watching this.
00:11:38:05 - 00:11:45:09
Stephanie
And it launched, and then it exploded before our eyes. It's horrifying. And every person in that image was.
00:11:45:09 - 00:11:47:08
Chorus
Killed we thought was a movie.
00:11:47:10 - 00:11:50:15
Stephanie
Well, I'm sure they did make movies about it. Yeah, it seems like.
00:11:50:15 - 00:11:54:04
Shaniqua
Why do they do that? Because they did that to us with 911. Like, why is a TV? Well, nine.
00:11:54:04 - 00:12:10:15
Stephanie
11 was different in the context that it was a tragedy that was occurring, that was being televised. So everybody stopped to watch it. This was different in that nobody knew it was. There. Was you. Yeah. Was an educational experience. Yeah. Nobody knew knew about tragedy. We were watching something exciting.
00:12:10:17 - 00:12:12:09
Victoria
Like people like to watch the moon then, like.
00:12:12:09 - 00:12:14:10
Stephanie
Yeah, like we were watching. It was supposed to wait.
00:12:14:10 - 00:12:14:20
Shaniqua
What a.
00:12:14:22 - 00:12:15:21
Stephanie
Celebration.
00:12:15:21 - 00:12:26:01
Shaniqua
What I understand is, like, I don't see what you're saying, but with the statistics of, like, how often these things like blow up, I would not want to chance them.
00:12:26:01 - 00:12:44:07
Stephanie
And it wasn't really. That's not how it was, you know, like it was a real big thing. And so we had a teacher going up and it was a woman as well. And so there was some real significance around it for our generation. So, yeah, you know, it was just being done for learning.
00:12:44:09 - 00:12:47:17
Shaniqua
Victoria, you are next.
00:12:47:19 - 00:12:50:15
Victoria
How's the weather? 40.
00:12:50:17 - 00:13:00:21
Shaniqua
You might feel this icy sensation in your lower extremities right before a big event, making it difficult to walk on stage or down the aisle.
00:13:00:23 - 00:13:06:12
Chloe Fiona
What is your pelvic floor?
00:13:06:14 - 00:13:10:00
Chorus
Yeah, that's a that's a really feather. That's be the best question.
00:13:10:00 - 00:13:11:07
Stephanie
The answer that we've had.
00:13:11:08 - 00:13:15:22
Chorus
I mean, I had to, like, make the question.
00:13:16:00 - 00:13:17:11
Shaniqua
What are we talking about?
00:13:17:12 - 00:13:21:14
Victoria
I like how you thought lower extremities, but I only had the body.
00:13:21:16 - 00:13:26:03
Chorus
Okay. Oh. Wait. Yes.
00:13:26:07 - 00:13:27:01
Stephanie
Go ahead.
00:13:27:03 - 00:13:28:07
Victoria
What is cold feet?
00:13:28:12 - 00:13:33:15
Chorus
Yes. Oh. Yes yes, yes. That's it.
00:13:33:20 - 00:13:36:08
Shaniqua
That's the one.
00:13:36:10 - 00:13:38:11
Chorus
Part. What's the body part?
00:13:38:13 - 00:13:42:07
Stephanie
I not really in extremity. Technically, though, we're more.
00:13:42:07 - 00:13:48:16
Chorus
Core.
00:13:48:18 - 00:13:52:23
Victoria
Let's do social justice. 20.
00:13:53:01 - 00:14:03:00
Shaniqua
This Uber hot, caffeinated substance from a well-known fast food chain resulted in a lawsuit judgment that became a hot button for tort reform.
00:14:03:05 - 00:14:05:06
Chloe Fiona
What is Starbucks.
00:14:05:08 - 00:14:07:09
Chorus
Now? Oh.
00:14:07:10 - 00:14:09:16
Chloe Fiona
What is McDonald's.
00:14:09:17 - 00:14:12:01
Chorus
Oh wait I was going to okay.
00:14:12:03 - 00:14:15:09
Victoria
What is Duncan Donuts. Oh McDonald's.
00:14:15:09 - 00:14:16:04
Chorus
McDonald's coffee.
00:14:16:09 - 00:14:18:11
Stephanie
How's this. I'm going to put her on the board with that.
00:14:18:11 - 00:14:20:11
Chorus
Yeah I think so.
00:14:20:13 - 00:14:21:08
Shaniqua
I think we should give.
00:14:21:08 - 00:14:23:19
Victoria
That was McDonald's. Oh sorry I said Starbucks I thought.
00:14:23:19 - 00:14:26:14
Chloe Fiona
So, yeah. Originally they've had a lawsuit. I remember what it was for.
00:14:26:14 - 00:14:28:03
Shaniqua
McDonald's melted this.
00:14:28:05 - 00:14:34:14
Chloe Fiona
Oh, yeah. Yeah. It was like third degree burns. Yeah. And then they had a law. Now about how hot coffee is when you like.
00:14:34:19 - 00:14:43:07
Stephanie
I think they actually had a law at the time. Oh they weren't following.
00:14:43:09 - 00:14:52:02
Chorus
No we've switched. Oh my gosh. Please. Yeah. Well, yeah. Just get a girl. Sure. Chloe. Let's do what's under.
00:14:52:02 - 00:14:53:08
Chloe Fiona
Funtastic.
00:14:53:14 - 00:14:53:19
Chorus
I have a.
00:14:53:19 - 00:14:55:19
Shaniqua
Question for you. Miscellaneous.
00:14:55:21 - 00:14:56:12
Chloe Fiona
Random.
00:14:56:12 - 00:15:03:06
Chorus
Yeah, yeah, I like what you're like now. Yeah. Let's do. Yeah.
00:15:03:06 - 00:15:07:06
Chloe Fiona
Generational trauma. 50. Let's. Yeah.
00:15:07:08 - 00:15:13:16
Shaniqua
This rampant virus brought the world to a complete halt, stopping everything from graduations to weddings to funerals.
00:15:13:18 - 00:15:18:02
Chloe Fiona
Chloe, what is, Covid 19?
00:15:18:04 - 00:15:22:05
Chorus
You got it. Yeah. Okay. Where should.
00:15:22:05 - 00:15:23:16
Shaniqua
We go next.
00:15:23:18 - 00:15:30:17

00:15:38:00 - 00:15:41:19

00:15:41:20 - 00:15:44:23
Chloe Fiona
Is it the technology itself or.
00:15:45:01 - 00:15:45:19
Stephanie
It was the event?
00:15:45:19 - 00:15:47:20
Shaniqua
Yeah, the event. We called it.
00:15:47:20 - 00:15:48:12
Chorus
This.
00:15:48:13 - 00:15:50:19
Stephanie

00:15:55:16 - 00:15:56:13
Chloe Fiona
The question one more time?

Shaniqua
Yeah. What is it.
00:16:11:04 - 00:16:16:08
Victoria

00:16:16:08 - 00:16:18:02
Chorus
Well yeah I can tell you what.
00:16:18:05 - 00:16:19:02
Stephanie

00:16:19:02 - 00:16:23:01
Chorus
Answer. Oh Y2K!! Dang it.
00:16:23:03 - 00:16:27:13
Stephanie
Yeah I told you like you've already given the answer. You follow the fast fashion. You follow the.
00:16:27:13 - 00:16:28:18
Chorus
Fashion. Follow the flash.
00:16:28:19 - 00:16:30:14
Stephanie
See, now you can learn about the event.
00:16:30:14 - 00:16:32:16
Chloe Fiona
Yes. I had no idea that there's a.
00:16:32:16 - 00:16:36:04
Shaniqua
Why did we dress that way? Why do we dress futuristic in metallic.
00:16:36:04 - 00:16:37:15
Chloe Fiona
I did no. Okay. No, no. There you.
00:16:37:15 - 00:16:42:04
Shaniqua
Go. Yeah. All right. Chloe,
00:16:42:06 - 00:16:44:22

00:17:00:02 - 00:17:06:03

00:17:20:00 - 00:17:23:16
Chorus
Oh, who is the right? Okay. I.
00:17:23:16 - 00:17:25:03
Victoria
Was gonna say, who is Jay-Z?
00:17:25:05 - 00:17:28:10
Shaniqua
Now? I do you want to say, for the record, I did not.
00:17:28:12 - 00:17:28:19
Chorus

00:17:28:20 - 00:17:30:23
Shaniqua
This question for my community out there.
00:17:30:23 - 00:17:36:04
Chorus
I'm not. I'm not a, like, rap.
00:17:36:06 - 00:17:38:22
Victoria

00:17:38:22 - 00:17:39:07

Chorus
Like it's oh wait.
00:18:56:02 - 00:19:02:15

00:19:02:17 - 00:19:03:12
Chorus
No.
00:19:03:14 - 00:19:05:18
Chloe Fiona
It's not that way. You know, it's like, yeah, it's like an arcade.
00:19:05:18 - 00:19:06:07
Chorus
Yeah, yeah.
00:19:06:08 - 00:19:06:21

Shaniqua
Yeah, I mean.
00:19:14:10 - 00:19:15:00
Chorus
This that's.
00:19:15:00 - 00:19:19:22
Stephanie
What I came up. I mean like. Yeah. Yeah, that was, it was that and a whole bunch of, like, weird British stuff that.
00:19:19:23 - 00:19:23:04
Chorus
This is anything about. So. Yeah. Yeah, that is,
00:19:23:06 - 00:19:31:06
Shaniqua
Yeah, it looks good. It looks good. What do you guys. We did not get that one, so I think it's still on.
00:19:31:06 - 00:19:34:21
Chorus
Chloe. Yeah. No, it's on those. Okay. Oh, okay.
00:19:34:23 - 00:19:38:04
Chloe Fiona
What is a Steve? Fantastic 20.
00:19:38:06 - 00:19:45:15
Shaniqua
This arcade game featuring a yellow character gobbling up dots became a cultural icon. Rock paper scissors.
00:19:45:17 - 00:19:46:01
Chorus
Yeah.
00:19:46:06 - 00:19:49:07
Chloe Fiona
Rock paper scissors shoot. Rock paper scissors shoot.
00:19:49:09 - 00:19:53:19
Chorus
Rock paper scissors. Shoot. Oh! Come on.
00:19:53:21 - 00:19:54:22
Chloe Fiona
What is Pac-Man?
00:19:55:00 - 00:19:56:14
Chorus
Oh.
00:19:56:16 - 00:19:59:09
Shaniqua
Yeah. I think you're really good at rock, paper, scissors.
00:19:59:12 - 00:20:02:22
Chorus
And it's, I don't know.
00:20:03:01 - 00:20:03:16
Stephanie
What was the score.
00:20:03:16 - 00:20:05:04
Shaniqua
Point on the one? It was 20. Okay.
00:20:05:09 - 00:20:09:13
Chloe Fiona
It's just luck with rock, paper, scissors. I just say it in my head.
00:20:09:13 - 00:20:10:15
Stephanie
There's energy there.
00:20:10:20 - 00:20:11:20
Chorus
Yeah.
00:20:11:22 - 00:20:13:23
Chloe Fiona
There's the. It's random, though, I swear.
00:20:14:01 - 00:20:18:03
Shaniqua
Random energy. Where would you like to travel next?
00:20:18:05 - 00:20:20:17
Chloe Fiona
You know.
00:20:20:19 - 00:20:21:07
Chorus
Let's do.
00:20:21:07 - 00:20:22:02
Chloe Fiona
Social justice.
00:20:22:02 - 00:20:25:09
Chorus
50,
00:20:25:11 - 00:20:35:04
Shaniqua
Something the whole world has done at least twice. That is currently happening in multiple locations around the world that we should all hope to avoid.
00:20:35:06 - 00:20:37:13
Chloe Fiona
What is recession?
00:20:37:15 - 00:20:38:19
Shaniqua
Yeah, I would like that too.
00:20:38:19 - 00:20:40:15
Stephanie
Yeah, that would be great. But no, that's not.
00:20:40:15 - 00:20:42:09
Chorus
Yeah.
00:20:42:10 - 00:20:47:11
Victoria
Oh. What is global warming now.
00:20:47:14 - 00:20:47:21
Chorus
Oh that.
00:20:47:21 - 00:20:49:05
Shaniqua
Would that. That's a good one.
00:20:49:09 - 00:20:49:15
Chorus
Good.
00:20:49:18 - 00:20:50:13
Shaniqua
What is war.
00:20:50:13 - 00:20:53:11
Victoria
Oh oh is not to say genocide.
00:20:53:13 - 00:20:55:14
Stephanie
Yeah. We've got two world wars okay.
00:20:55:14 - 00:20:59:18
Chorus
Yeah yeah we all of your response. Yeah. Yeah.
00:20:59:20 - 00:21:01:05
Stephanie
We should avoid all this.
00:21:01:07 - 00:21:08:14
Chorus
Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. We should avoid all, clearly. What is.
00:21:08:14 - 00:21:11:16
Chloe Fiona
Social justice 40.
00:21:11:18 - 00:21:19:11
Shaniqua
These are represented by geographical areas where there is little or no access to healthy, affordable food options.
00:21:19:13 - 00:21:21:19
Victoria
What is a food desert?
00:21:21:21 - 00:21:24:17
Chloe Fiona
Correct. I actually don't know what that is. Can someone explain?
00:21:24:22 - 00:21:28:13
Stephanie
It's good. Go back to the question. I think if you go backward.
00:21:28:13 - 00:21:28:21
Chloe Fiona
In more.
00:21:28:21 - 00:21:29:14
Shaniqua
Detail.
00:21:29:16 - 00:21:31:06
Stephanie
It'll show the question again.
00:21:31:08 - 00:21:35:17
Shaniqua
So where you don't have like access to like food.
00:21:35:21 - 00:21:39:01
Chorus
Oops. Is what I just said.
00:21:39:03 - 00:21:50:04
Shaniqua
Okay. Like areas of communities are possibly traditionally redlined. They do not have like access to like, healthy foods, like vegetables. They typically have more of like the junk foods, like chips.
00:21:50:08 - 00:22:11:07
Stephanie
Yeah. It's it it's also like it has to do with being within a certain mile radius and not having a vehicle. So there's like there's several things that well, like designate an area as a food desert where it's like the population doesn't have a vehicle they can't transport. And then there are no food options in that area. So that's.
00:22:11:11 - 00:22:11:17
Chloe Fiona
Thank.
00:22:11:17 - 00:22:13:14
Chorus
You.
00:22:13:16 - 00:22:17:11
Shaniqua
Where would you like to go next?
00:22:17:13 - 00:22:21:05
Victoria
Let's do how's the weather? 50.
00:22:21:07 - 00:22:26:04
Shaniqua
This weather event means no new employees for a while.
00:22:26:06 - 00:22:28:06
Victoria
What is a hiring freeze?
00:22:28:08 - 00:22:30:08
Chorus
Correct.
00:22:30:10 - 00:22:36:23
Shaniqua
Victoria, we have three questions remaining and three options.
00:22:37:01 - 00:22:41:08
Victoria
Let's go to, Funtastic. I was about to say it.
00:22:41:10 - 00:22:50:19
Shaniqua
All right. This classic TV show from the 1960s feature a group of castaways on a deserted island, leading to many humorous adventures.
00:22:50:21 - 00:22:54:21
Chloe Fiona
Was it what is lost now? But that wasn't that long ago.
00:22:54:23 - 00:22:57:16
Stephanie
Yeah, that was awesome, though. Beautiful.
00:22:57:18 - 00:23:04:03
Chorus
Yeah, I think it goes with the disc. That's a that's a millennial. I know, it's awesome.
00:23:04:05 - 00:23:05:19
Victoria
No I don't I'm gonna.
00:23:06:01 - 00:23:08:15
Shaniqua
What is Gilligan's Island? Oh.
00:23:08:17 - 00:23:09:22
Chloe Fiona
They have some intense scenes.
00:23:09:23 - 00:23:14:15
Stephanie
I feel like I found a really cute picture of Gilligan. They're like, that was built on these little creepy.
00:23:14:17 - 00:23:15:08
Chorus
Like.
00:23:15:10 - 00:23:18:02
Shaniqua
What would you like to get an. Excuse me? Just have a few more minutes.
00:23:18:02 - 00:23:19:15
Victoria
Changemakers.
00:23:19:17 - 00:23:29:18
Shaniqua
Okay. This innovative boomer made the apple ubiquitous. So, so much so that you may have one in your pocket.
00:23:29:20 - 00:23:31:12
Chloe Fiona
Was it Steve Jobs?
00:23:31:14 - 00:23:34:06
Chorus
Yes.
00:23:34:08 - 00:23:43:13
Shaniqua
All right, Chloe, social justice content. Be sure to think before you speak or you may be next in this form of social exile.
00:23:43:15 - 00:23:45:08
Victoria
Cancel. What is cancel culture.
00:23:45:10 - 00:23:47:03
Chorus
Ding ding ding ding ding.
00:23:47:05 - 00:24:01:08
Stephanie
And we have a winner. Millennials are coming out on top as the generation that's in the most jeopardy. No, I'm just.
00:24:01:10 - 00:24:03:09
Chorus
Congratulations. Thank you.
00:24:03:12 - 00:24:07:22
Victoria
Yeah, we're stuck in the middle.
00:24:08:00 - 00:24:09:01
Chorus
Well.
00:24:09:03 - 00:24:16:15
Shaniqua
We're going to celebrate Victoria a little bit more. So we'll take a quick break, a quick commercial break, and we'll be back soon.
00:24:16:17 - 00:24:36:08
Stephanie
Thanks, everybody. We're back with the final wrap on our Generation Jeopardy series. And before we, award our winner, we want to make sure that Chloe gets her participation. Thank you.
00:24:36:10 - 00:24:39:17
Chorus
Thank you, thank you. Yeah. I really appreciate Chloe.
00:24:39:17 - 00:24:54:01
Stephanie
Showing up for Gen Z. Really represented well, and that was great. And for our Millennial Winner, Victoria, you your participation, certificate is, actually says winner on it.
00:24:54:02 - 00:24:57:10
Chorus
Yeah, it’s framed... Oh, my God.
00:24:57:12 - 00:24:58:21
Shaniqua
Everyone was a participator.
00:24:59:00 - 00:24:59:09
Chorus
And you think.
00:24:59:09 - 00:25:00:06
Shaniqua
You were the winner?
00:25:00:09 - 00:25:01:23
Stephanie
You were the winner, right?
00:25:01:23 - 00:25:04:13
Victoria
That's my first Jeopardy. I think I need to start a career.
00:25:04:13 - 00:25:06:20
Chorus
Yeah.
00:25:06:22 - 00:25:14:14
Shaniqua
I will say that you were very calm, cool and collected in the final, so I think that is that. Was that your secret going into this?
00:25:14:16 - 00:25:21:17
Victoria
No, I think, I have a very interesting, like, competitive, aspect, which I'm very silent and quiet.
00:25:22:08 - 00:25:34:09
Victoria
And then like with Ted, initially was like I was very quiet and I was like, okay, then something clicks that I need to move on to the next. So yeah, I just like stay very like focused.
00:25:34:10 - 00:25:40:04
Shaniqua
It showed and it paid off. Congratulations, Victoria. I'm so happy that you held down the millennials.
00:25:40:06 - 00:25:43:17
Stephanie
I know that Sydney was really, really excited for her generation, right?
00:25:43:20 - 00:25:47:16
Shaniqua
Yeah, I was busy the entire time. I knew you.
00:25:47:16 - 00:25:48:13
Chorus
Could.
00:25:48:15 - 00:25:50:09
Chloe Fiona
Think you're related.
00:25:50:11 - 00:26:09:22
Shaniqua
You played it for sure. So I got started with Chloe. As a Gen Z, what was your experience like participating in generational jeopardy? Having a chance to meet with, Ted, our baby boomer participant, playing against, er, the Gen Xer and even Victoria millennial.
00:26:09:23 - 00:26:31:08
Chloe Fiona
I thought that it was a fun, well-rounded experience. I like meeting new people. And so I think it was, like, really fun experiencing everyone's energy is in the space. They're all very different, including myself. But I think that, like, helps, like, you know, I don't know, sharing a community within a space that, like, has different energies and like creating a collective.
00:26:31:08 - 00:26:37:08
Chloe Fiona
So I feel like a collective was formed here and I just enjoyed the energy. And I fed off of it a lot.
00:26:37:10 - 00:26:38:07
Chorus
So.
00:26:38:09 - 00:26:40:11
Stephanie
And you fed it a lot. Yeah.
00:26:40:12 - 00:26:41:10
Chorus
I love that.
00:26:41:12 - 00:26:44:10
Chloe Fiona
So yeah, it was a fun community based activity.
00:26:44:12 - 00:26:46:12
Chorus
What about you, Victoria?
00:26:46:14 - 00:27:16:15
Victoria
I, I just really enjoyed getting out of my comfort zone in, like, so many ways, one being on a podcast to playing jeopardy, where, you know, it's not it's not a game. I've watched growing up like I've heard about it and and also like, I just love, as you said, like getting to meet new people. And I think adding the general generational aspect, like Ted or you, we'd probably like not crossed paths so easily in our day to day just because of like the where we live and the realms we work in.
00:27:16:15 - 00:27:21:05
Victoria
So I always like that kind of forcing function.
00:27:21:07 - 00:27:31:12
Stephanie
I'm curious for each of you, did either one of you and you can each answer it like learned something that you didn't know or something that surprised you about another generation?
00:27:31:12 - 00:27:42:19
Chloe Fiona
Oh yeah. When we were going through the corporate terms, I have never been in a corporate field or like when the hiring process is done or like the what was it called? Where's the whether.
00:27:42:21 - 00:27:43:13
Chorus
There's one.
00:27:43:13 - 00:27:44:03
Shaniqua
Other.
00:27:44:05 - 00:28:03:20
Chloe Fiona
Yeah. Never never experiences terms never really experience like that in an environment. And so it was just really cool to like I don't know I kind of like learned about like what all those terms were a little bit, and I feel like I do engage in that in my field of work, but also just not not as much.
00:28:03:22 - 00:28:18:00
Chloe Fiona
So yeah, that was pretty cool. Also, it's like, I feel like my generation, I remember faces, I don't know if it's a me thing, but I remember faces, but I don't remember names. Someone like we were doing the people section. I was like, oh yeah, I know who this are on TV, don't name.
00:28:18:02 - 00:28:20:17
Chorus
I yeah, I.
00:28:20:18 - 00:28:22:19
Chloe Fiona
So yeah.
00:28:22:21 - 00:28:24:02
Shaniqua
Face identifier.
00:28:24:02 - 00:28:26:09
Chloe Fiona
Face identifier.
00:28:26:11 - 00:28:27:00
Chorus
Names.
00:28:27:00 - 00:28:27:18
Chloe Fiona
Now.
00:28:27:19 - 00:28:30:09
Shaniqua
What about you Victoria? What do you think would you learn?
00:28:30:14 - 00:29:02:21
Victoria
I think for me, well, like, I've known this, being like, bi- national, like the. I mentioned it before, like the culture aspect of, like, there's stuff that's very like US-based and having grown up in, like, in the US with a French household, there's like things that I are like blind spots just because of, like when I was born and where I was raised in, like, for example, the, the challenger, incident, like, those are things that have marked the history of the US, but same thing like the civil rights.
00:29:02:21 - 00:29:24:07
Victoria
And so I think there's like what I liked about it was like the remembering of things that mark the American culture and for me, have probably started at like 911, because that's when I was a kid. But there's been things before that influence, like people that we meet in our day to day, and also influence like politics today, and decisions.
00:29:24:07 - 00:29:28:10
Victoria
So I think that's a place where I'd be curious to kind of go explore a bit more.
00:29:28:15 - 00:29:30:08
Stephanie
Oh, you got the Vietnam answer then?
00:29:30:08 - 00:29:30:17
Chorus
Yeah.
00:29:30:17 - 00:29:33:04
Victoria
Yeah. Well, my grandfather.
00:29:33:06 - 00:29:36:13
Chorus
Was in that war, so, it's.
00:29:36:15 - 00:29:38:01
Victoria
A it's a, it's a war that.
00:29:38:03 - 00:29:46:05
Stephanie
Crosses over and that really emphasizes what you're saying, though. It's like it was a part of our history and your history. So that crossover is really interesting.
00:29:46:05 - 00:29:46:18
Chorus
Yeah.
00:29:46:20 - 00:30:03:05
Shaniqua
Like, what do you find is like a commonality, like if you had two maybe like three commonalities, that you like, found, between like generations that you may have not seen before today.
00:30:04:05 - 00:30:34:22
Victoria
Commonalities, I think. I don't know if it's like, also the people that are here, but I'd say that there's always, like, this desire to connect. There's a, like the curiosity of, like, learning more or learning about a new person. And then I think everyone was also really humble, and just being humble to like, know what you know, because it's the road you work, you like function in or what you're used to talking about.
00:30:34:22 - 00:30:40:03
Victoria
And then there's the other stuff that can complete that picture.
00:30:40:05 - 00:30:41:04
Chorus
Yeah, yeah.
00:30:41:06 - 00:30:42:07
Shaniqua
What about you, Chloe?
00:30:42:13 - 00:31:04:16
Chloe Fiona
Yeah, I feel like this found I learned a lot more. And, like, I didn't know the answers to a lot of the questions, but also, I learned at the same time. And I don't know that I don't think that's necessarily, like, just a generational thing. I think that's just also an aspect of, like, me and my engagement in how I live my life and my day to day world.
00:31:04:18 - 00:31:25:00
Chloe Fiona
But also it's important to like, acknowledge to those things that were topics of discussion, like frickin like what civil rights. Like hello, let's win that. Because yeah, I was like, I don't know. But it's like, that's something like that's important to always emphasize and remember. And I just I didn't. Yeah. Well.
00:31:25:00 - 00:31:30:06
Shaniqua
Like, what did you feel that you found like you had in common with maybe,
00:31:30:08 - 00:31:31:16
Chorus
You.
00:31:31:18 - 00:31:40:03
Shaniqua
Connected with Ed from Gen-X, with Victoria from millennials. Like, did you find any commonalities with them or other generations?
00:31:41:02 - 00:32:10:21
Chloe Fiona
I think commonality is I don't I'm a I'm a human that values are all different. But I think commonality is experience wise. Everyone kind of like has experience the same thing. Like we all experience life pretty much like similarly, it's just based around like how we grew up individually. And so yeah, there were things that Ed knew that were from my generation that I didn't know.
00:32:10:23 - 00:32:13:05
Chorus
Like the thumbs up.
00:32:13:07 - 00:32:17:19
Chloe Fiona
I never use a thumbs up. I'm always a laughing emoji. Or like the two pink hearts.
00:32:17:21 - 00:32:19:07
Chorus
That's my that's my.
00:32:19:07 - 00:32:21:23
Chloe Fiona
Go to, So, yeah.
00:32:22:01 - 00:32:40:06
Stephanie
But I'm like, that's because the older generations were always going out and looking up and going, how are they using emojis to talk? Because we don't want to offend somebody or yeah, like I don't want to like send an emoji thing and like be like hitting on someone and not realize it because I put fruit out there like I.
00:32:40:08 - 00:32:41:17
Stephanie
Like I just like peaches. I don't.
00:32:41:17 - 00:32:46:02
Chorus
Know, I don't know. Oh, oh my gosh.
00:32:46:04 - 00:32:48:19
Shaniqua
The three droplets, like I just really thought they were juicy this.
00:32:48:19 - 00:32:50:10
Chorus
Season I know. Yeah.
00:32:50:12 - 00:33:01:12
Stephanie
So in some ways we might be learning more about it in the context or actively like seeking it out, you know? Or like what does it mean? You know? And for you, it's just sort of the snapshot like you're like, I don't even use that. You know, it's like, not.
00:33:01:12 - 00:33:04:10
Chorus
Even on my radar.
00:33:04:12 - 00:33:24:04
Chloe Fiona
Like the music section, they're from all different generations, but like, I knew more so of, like what was going on at that. And so I like music a lot. I think it's just all our own individualities and like we were discussing earlier, like, it's like everyone wants to blame each generation, but it's not necessarily the generation itself.
00:33:24:06 - 00:33:37:17
Chloe Fiona
Which is why I kind of like to put, intergenerational trauma as, like one of the options for, like, the questions that like, really tied in after the first, jeopardy thing. So I appreciate that you guys did that.
00:33:37:19 - 00:33:38:02
Chorus
So.
00:33:38:04 - 00:33:38:18
Chloe Fiona
Knowledgeable.
00:33:38:23 - 00:33:46:06
Victoria
I wanted to add something because, like, talking to you just briefly, one thing that I didn't notice, though, it was in the use of words between.
00:33:46:08 - 00:33:48:00
Chorus
Well,
00:33:48:02 - 00:34:16:08
Victoria
Ted, who was a baby boomer, was you use a lot of words around, like, mental health, energy, all these like, I'm going to say psychological principles, like you were telling me about your thesis. And I think, like, that's a part that I recognize in in the next generation, because I think, like, as a millennial, we're we're the generation that has started to go to therapy and like done some self introspection work, which was not seen was taboo beforehand.
00:34:16:10 - 00:34:32:03
Victoria
And so that's, I would say a commonality that I had a completely different discussion with Ted and was probably not a topic we would touch upon, like right from the get go maybe. Yeah. You know. Yeah. So yeah, there's definitely there's more openness to like, oh, how do we connect as humans? And yeah.
00:34:32:05 - 00:34:58:10
Stephanie
I think also and this is just a perspective of, yeah, it's like I think women in general, even in older generations, began to go to therapy long before men could even say the word because they were just so conditioned and we're not even allowed to. And what it meant to a man generationally in a Boomer era, even for Gen X to acknowledge a mental health issue was extremely stigmatizing.
00:34:58:10 - 00:35:28:10
Stephanie
Whereas women, we had a little bit more flex because we were seen as emotional. And so therefore there was. Yeah. And you know, good, bad or indifferent. We went to therapy, right. We started to heal ourselves. And what I see in the younger generations, for me, that I find is so compelling and hope and, and hopeful inspiring is, is that men and women are both looking at mental health, that it is a more unified conversation and that that trickles upwards.
00:35:28:13 - 00:35:45:21
Stephanie
And I think that that's something we talk a lot about, what trickles down. But this is something very, very important and powerful that is trickling upwards. And we are seeing, you know, like when we see somebody like Simone Biles, you know, step out of an Olympic position for her mental health and be there to support her team.
00:35:45:23 - 00:36:07:10
Stephanie
And there were a lot of like older generation people that really call that out and didn't understand it because it went so against what they were conditioned and taught. But now we see her showing back up like just on top of the world, and we see the benefit of making that choice. And she's teaching all of us by, you know, and I'm just picking on that because, you know, the Olympics are coming up.
00:36:07:10 - 00:36:15:01
Stephanie
Oh yeah. And lI freakin love Simone, right. Like but in general, I think that that's something that's really important. You know, what's happening in the younger generations. Yeah.
00:36:15:03 - 00:36:34:05
Chloe Fiona
And women I like that you brought up, man, because there's this book that I've been reading. I don't remember the full name, but it's by Bell Hooks, and I hundred percent recommend it. It's recently came out, before she died. And so it's called How to Change, man. And then, like, forgot, there.
00:36:34:05 - 00:36:35:02
Stephanie
Will literally be.
00:36:35:02 - 00:36:36:05
Victoria
Is it the will to change?
00:36:36:05 - 00:36:36:22
Chorus
Yeah.
00:36:37:00 - 00:37:00:04
Chloe Fiona
Yeah. The Will to Change Men. And it's a really good book. And it talks about how we all have. And we've had this discussion too, in our walks where it's like, we all have masculine and feminine energies. And so the book talks about like men engaging more in like the their feminine energies and like their emotional emotions and just like experiencing expression and why they don't.
00:37:00:06 - 00:37:06:08
Chloe Fiona
Yeah. Based upon society and how is the society we can help foster and nurture men expressing emotions more?
00:37:06:11 - 00:37:08:20
Stephanie
It's really important. Yeah, it's really critical.
00:37:08:22 - 00:37:09:17
Chorus
Yeah.
00:37:09:19 - 00:37:35:13
Stephanie
First of all, this has been fantastic. And y'all's participation has been amazing. Everybody's participation in this has been amazing. And I guess if we can just go and do a quick wrap on takeaways from your whole experience, not not just the show itself, but just from the whole experience, you've got like one key thing that you're going to take away from you, or maybe you're going to go research or something that just got you very curious, like, what would that be?
00:37:35:15 - 00:37:37:04
Stephanie
I think we'll start with our winner.
00:37:37:09 - 00:37:42:16
Chorus
Oh, pressure. Okay.
00:37:42:18 - 00:37:44:12
Victoria
Key takeaway.
00:37:44:14 - 00:37:45:05
Chorus
I think this is going.
00:37:45:05 - 00:38:04:20
Victoria
To be more personal. But definitely the to take away is like trusting myself, because, yeah, I think it was like, this was there was a lot of newness, and I think it was it was just being in this moment was really incredible.
00:38:04:20 - 00:38:05:22
Chorus
Yeah.
00:38:06:00 - 00:38:29:21
Victoria
And getting to meet just new people and, and meet you too, in person. So, yeah, I think that's the end. Like, trusting, like what I know and what I don't know. Because there were just, as you said, like there's some categories where because of our interest or something in our life we know more of and others, it's just like you don't, and it's okay.
00:38:29:23 - 00:38:37:07
Victoria
But definitely. Yeah, I will look more into the history of the US, even though I did study it in high school. But there's some more things too.
00:38:37:07 - 00:38:38:04
Shaniqua
You can always brush.
00:38:38:04 - 00:38:39:04
Chorus
Up on it. Yeah, yeah.
00:38:39:08 - 00:38:40:23
Victoria
I need to brush up.
00:38:41:01 - 00:38:43:09
Chorus
What about you, Chloe?
00:38:43:11 - 00:39:04:19
Chloe Fiona
I think I think I mentioned a little earlier some takeaways from today, but I think something really important is, like, before I came into this space with Ed, I came in and I saw him and a part of me who was, like, really nervous to engage. I don't know why I when I see an older white male, I'm like, like.
00:39:04:19 - 00:39:24:06
Chloe Fiona
And so I made the initial step to, like, introduce myself and talk to him and get to know him about his life, where he's from, his work, his job, and I don't think I would ever usually walk up to a Gen Xer or even a Boomer and just like, randomly talk about their life, especially like a male, a woman.
00:39:24:06 - 00:39:43:09
Chloe Fiona
Yeah. But, that was something that felt really nice to do and like, get to know somebody on like, a personal level right before a show to where, like, you're going to be like, head on and like, create like a human to human connection. And I feel like that's something that should be done a lot more, especially like in the dance world where you're going into like, what's it?
00:39:43:14 - 00:39:51:23
Chloe Fiona
I don't even know. It's called. Where are you going to, a room. And like, you're trying to get, like, a part in, like, a show or something. We don't like an audition. Audition? Thank you.
00:39:51:23 - 00:39:54:03
Chorus
I don't know why I it it's okay, it's okay. But like.
00:39:54:03 - 00:40:11:21
Chloe Fiona
In an audition, it's like. It's like, this is my space. Stay away from me. Don't talk to me. And so it felt less of that here in the space. And so as a dancer, I tend to go into things with that mindset of like, I am here and I'm direct. And so in this case, it was more like as a collective.
00:40:11:21 - 00:40:18:00
Chloe Fiona
And it felt really nice that I was able to make that initiative on my own. And yeah.
00:40:18:02 - 00:40:19:04
Chorus
So I think.
00:40:19:04 - 00:40:47:01
Shaniqua
That's wonderful. To end with my takeaway, I, I feel that there's opportunity for intergenerational relationships and it looks like from what you guys have exhibited, that you also want intergenerational relationships. So I'm happy to see that, it was really nice to see everyone interacting. What you just said, Chloe, about connecting with Ed before.
00:40:47:02 - 00:41:02:04
Shaniqua
Yeah. Going out of your comfort zone, I think we all can do that. Maybe charging ourselves individually to be the change that we want to see in our generations. And it's been really nice to see you and Ted just chatting it up. After.
00:41:02:04 - 00:41:05:13
Victoria
We almost grab lunch. Had it not to come back.
00:41:05:14 - 00:41:20:19
Shaniqua
That is so awesome. I love hearing that. And I think that we're, We are challenging what is being said about the divisiveness in generations, because we're proving with this show that there's more inclusion, then divide, then division. So thank y'all.
00:41:20:21 - 00:41:25:09
Stephanie
My key takeaway is I want to throw more across generational parties. Period. Okay.
00:41:29:04 - 00:41:30:15
Stephanie
That's that I just I just.
00:41:30:16 - 00:41:31:16
Victoria
You know, fun. I feel.
00:41:31:16 - 00:41:34:11
Stephanie
Like if we are more intentional.
00:41:34:13 - 00:41:35:09
Chorus
About.
00:41:35:10 - 00:41:52:06
Stephanie
Seeking out these relationships and being just weren't consciously open about the people that are around us. And, you know, this has been, for me, a great experience. I've enjoyed meeting, you know, both of your loved I of course, I know, but I love meeting Ted as well.
00:41:52:06 - 00:41:55:17
